She brought us whole bunch of snacks! yay! I am very happy about that.

Oh I didn’t take the pic of the instant coffee. I told her that it was good the last time I went back to HK, but it was quite expensive so I didn’t buy it. She remembered and got me some! That’s so sweet!
When we met her at night for dinner, we got a shocking news - grandpa has gone, just one day after mom left. The whole reason for mom to went back HK was that grandpa was seriously ill and she wanted to be with him in his last days. She delayed her flight back to the US for two times, since his situation was not good. This time, it seems that his situation has been stablized, so she came back. Within few hours of arrival, she got the news. From this, we realize that a lot of things in life are not in our control, not in our expectation. No matter how we plan it, there are always things that go out of our plan.
Anyway, I am not too sad about grandpa’s leaving. He’s old, it’s normal and expected. I am not too cold-blooded, am I?
